We believe in investing in the next generation, & challenging them to know Jesus intimately. Around the office our interns become family. It is a lot of work, & it looks a bit different every day - but we find ways to have a lot of fun while we are at it.

Meet the 2017-2018 IFterns

Q: What has been a highlight of the IFternship?

Seeing how five people who didn't know each other one year ago could grow to love one another, encourage one another, and fight for one another in just a matter of a few months has been one of the sweetest parts of this internship. There is nothing like being an IFtern and the community here is so special!

Q: What have you learned this year?

Teamwork makes the dream work! This sounds cliche, but it is so true at IF:Gathering. Each intern and staff member has a specific role and the whole ministry could not work without each of our individual talents and gifts. I have seen the body of Christ come together in a way I have never seen before and God has truly gotten all the glory for the way our team has worked together in this mission to disciple a generation. I am so grateful for the whole IF:Gathering team and for people who have seen and believed in giftings in me that I never would have seen in myself.

Q: What has been a highlight of the IFternship?

It has been really cool that we are given so much responsibility in our jobs throughout our internship! It was a major highlight to look around at the events and think that the interns got to help put it on. It causes us to grow a ton professionally and personally. It also allows us to lean into each other and grow closer as a group!

Q: What have you learned this year?

This job has really pushed me to rely on the Lord through the built in community, and realizing all of the work we get to do is for His Kingdom! He is using IF: Gathering to spread the gospel so far, and getting to be a part of it has tremendously grown my faith!

Morgan Morehead

Hometown: Little Rock, AR
Position: Logistics Coordinator

Q: What has been a highlight of the IFternship?

IF:Lead / IF:Gathering - getting to be on site and see all of the hard work pay off and getting  to see the Lord move mountains  is literally the greatest! It’s so fun to watch women encounter and experience Jesus! Nothing beats those moments!

Q: What have you learned this year?

This year I have learned a lot about what it looks like to work as a team! It takes a unified team to operate. I have also learned a lot about what it looks to fight for community and those you are serving alongside!! IT IS WORTH IT!!! This year has taught me humility, transparency, what it looks like to step out on a limb and say YES!!!

Q: What has been a highlight of the IFternship?

The girls here at IF:Gathering have gone from being complete strangers to being my people. They're kind, steadfast, and they laugh at all my jokes. I can't imagine this year without them!

Q: What have you learned this year?

I have learned how beautiful the gift of serving is - serving both my fellow interns and the ladies around the world who follow along with IF:Gathering. Every interaction I have here is a gift, and every opportunity I have to interact with someone is an opportunity to love them in a radical way.

Q: What has been a highlight of the IFternship?

Seeing months of intense preparation and prayer come together at the Gathering in February. We could not have pulled off this event (nor would have it gone as smoothly!) if we wouldn't have worked and prayed as hard as we did!

Q: What have you learned this year?

You cannot do this job alone. You have to lean on every team member, ask for help even when you don't think you need it, and ask God to provide the things that seem out of your reach. I was amazed to see God expand my capacity to work harder than I ever have before, but even when that wasn't enough, I watched in awe as He met every need we had.
